Winter is here. We've had a couple of snow 'showers', about an inch of snow, in the last couple of weeks, but this morning we've had enough to build a snowman, and it's still going, although it's quite light at the moment.

It's a winter wonderland in our garden, the trees are all covered in snow, as is the ground. Daisy and I did a little bit of sledging this morning. Mandi has a cold (which Daisy gave her, so she just watched).

The stove is doing great keeping us warm, and since we put up a curtain (actually a bedspread) over the sliding doors at night it's staying pretty warm overnight too.

I think it's time to get the snow tires put on the truck. =)

My beer making is going well. My first two batches have turned out great, we've nearly finished the second one. The third is the first that I've created myself (ie, picked out the ingredients, rather than buying them in a kit), it's finished fermenting, and I'm going to rack it (move it to a different container) this afternoon ready to keg it when the CO2 regulator arrives. I hope it turns out good as it'll be the beer for Daisy's birthday party. =)
