Just over a month to go until we fly. We've sold a load of stuff and given some to charity. Everything we're taking was packed and sent a couple of weeks ago, it's currently in Sheffield waiting to go to a boat. A sale on our flat is in progress, which is exciting. She's hoping that will go through before the end of this month. Fingers crossed.
My last day at work is May the first, it's rushing up fast. We're looking forward to spending the last couple of weeks at my parents, hopefully relaxing (and closing our accounts).
Daisy is doing really well, she's so much fun. She's really starting to talk now. She said 'Bye' to me when I left for work the other day, I normally just get a wave and if I'm lucky a kiss.
We think she's getting a bit bored in the flat, she only has a small selection of toys, and not many good ones, because they're all packed. She's really taken to reading books with us though. She loves it.
Another thing she's loving at the moment is flowers. She calls them 'Gluck', because we always say to her 'Look' when we see some, but she can't quite say that. She loves stopping to touch EVERY flower we pass. They don't get damaged though, because she is very gentle with them.
We can't wait to have a garden for her to play in. The first few days Mandi will probably be busy planting flowers for Daisy to 'Gluck' at, while I build her a roundabout, a slide, and zip-line, and all the other toys she loves so much at the park. =)
