How Time Flies

I haven't written for a while....again, I suppose because Daisy's been keeping me busy! She's still crawling all over the place, although a couple of her friends are walking now, so she's starting to take an interest in walking again. She used to want to walk a lot before she could crawl, but once she learned how to crawl, she just dropped to her knees and was off every time I stood her up. I think she wants to walk now, because Harry does!

I got an aerobic step off of freecycle.org a few weeks ago for her to stand on at the window, and she absolutely loves it. One of the photos I posted was the first day I got it, and you can probably tell by the look on her face that she was excited :) She stands in the window for ages every day, watching the world go by. Every once in a while I'll here her squeal when she sees a dog go by (or maybe people are waving at her - you never know!) We're on the top floor, so I do wonder if anyone ever looks up and sees this little girl smiling down at them.

She's eating loads more now, and even having some meals that we eat. The other day, Colin and I had corn on the cob, and she grabbed Colin's corn out of his hand and started eating it. She loves it - she cries when we take it off her, and she won't eat anything else if she sees that there is corn on the cob on the plate. Guess there are worse things for her to love. She's still just got the four teeth, but puts them to good use with her corn :)

We have a couple of digital photo frames, and every time a picture of Daisy or my Mom's dogs comes up, Daisy squeels with delight. She loves seeing pictures of herself, and she's really got a thing for dogs, although I'm not sure why, as she hasn't been around them much. Maybe it's something to do with all of the Daisy dogs in our family!!! She also pulls all of our dvd's down off the shelf every day and gets excited when she gets to Scooby Doo or Hoodwinked, because of the dog and wolf on the cover!

Colin's been away for the last few days, and we're so looking forward to having him back tomorrow night. It's been a nice girls weekend in, but we're both missing him.
