We did it! We're now the proud parent's of a beautiful baby girl! Daisy was born on Sunday, December 2nd at 3:30pm, weighing 7lb's 8oz's.

We had a home birth in a pool, hence the picture of the Birth Pool in a Box (for anyone who isn't sure what that is all about!) It went extremely smoothly, and the midwives were very impressed with the speed and ease of the birth (although I'm not so sure about the ease bit!!!!) It did all go very well, though, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect birth, or a more perfect baby for that matter! I went in to labour at 5:30am and Daisy was with us by 3:30 that afternoon :)

She's been mostly sleeping for the last couple of days, and just generally being cute. She likes to cuddle a lot, so we haven't had a huge amount of sleep, which is more down to the fact that we both want to cuddle her all the time than her crying or anything.

Our flat is nearly finished, and we are also now the proud owners of a fitted kitchen worktop - so as of today, our bathroom is no longer being used as a washing up station! The guy was supposed to fit it for us on Sunday, but somewhat luckilly, he didn't show up, as it might have been a bit awkward during labour.

We will do another update soon, and no doubt there will be a lot of photos added in the near future, of both Daisy and the new flat!
