I don't know where the time went, but Daisy is now 6 months old. She's not crawling yet, but she's having a very good go at it. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. Sometimes she does it so much that her knees bounce forwards and she falls over.

We tried feeding her some simple foods (banana, sweet potato, and avacado (all watered down with boobie milk)), but she wasn't very keen on any of them. She would eat a few spoonfulls and get bored and try to wriggle out of the chair. I tried singing to her; I managed to get some food into her mouth as it hung open. So the food is on hold for a bit until she's more interested.

My parent came over and baby sat while we went out for our aniversary. It was a bit odd being out without Daisy, but after a strong margaritta each we relaxed. We had a strange meal at an odd little place in the Pantiles, which was fun. It was good to get out on our own for an evening.

We moved Daisy out of our bedroom into her own corner of the living room. She's only been out couple of nights so far, but it seems to be going ok. It was a bit sad to not have her there, but nice to have our room back (and the space!).
